Training Hurghada - Day 8-10 Departure
DAY8:This was the last day with good wind, and I could even ride my 9, which was super nice, as I am expecting really strong winds in the south of Fuerteventura, only for 7s and 9s! I could still do all my tricks on this small kite, even though it had been over 4 months since Venezuela, that I was riding something that small!
DAY9 & DAY10:
The last two days were pretty shitty regarding the wind, I could not even stay upwind on my 13 and the heat tortured us endlessly. I am pretty happy actually to go back home! However, I have to say, that this spot has been quite ok, especially for beginners it is good, but also proriders have their fun here. The only negetive side it has is, that the wind only blows from 10 AM until 3 PM. Also Maria has filmed quite alot again, so a small video clip will be coming out any day soon. A fotographer from Russia took some pics of me, and I will use them for Travelstories in Magazines but also on my website. My training went quite well I guess, as I finally managed to get the Double-S-Bend-Pass and the switch-S-bend-Pass stable, and ready for the comp in Fuerte! The last 14 days were thereby pretty sucessfull!
The Gallery is completely updated!
And the Action Gallery! is fully packed with new shots!
Tomorrow we will leave at 8AM from Hurghada to Cairo and from there with a lay-over in Vienna to Innsbruck for 36 hours! Then I will fly straight to Fuerteventura, where the next tourstop of the PKRA will be held, for 2 weeks with my sister. I will give you another update from there!
BEST Cheers
Jule
