Brazil Roadtrip

DAY8:

At first I was all motivated to keep pushing my gains from yesterday, but then I already had a super hard crash in 25 knots on my first trick and i completely busted my shin :-( So I was pretty much out for the whole day, getting some rest to be fit for the rest of the time here!

DAY9:

After the last days only staying in Paracuru we are starting our first trip with our clients: We will go all the way North till Jeri in 3 stops. So we left all packed up to our first kite spot in Icarai a Montada. I was a little bit dissapointed as I really had epxected the place to be better. Besides the super chopy water and the gusty wind there is really nothing around... we are in the middle of nowhere. Still, we are having lots of fun, even though we did not kite as much today as I hoped!

DAY10:

It is just halftime of this stay in Brazil, and it has just been amazing. Probably one of the best times I have ever had here!!! Today we went to our second stop on our roadtrip: Ilhoa di Guajuru! I heard lots of good things about this spot, but the high expectations werent really met. The wind is quite gusty, and if it isnt full high-tide it is pretty shallow! Still, me and Fabio really ripped the spot, and I landed some new variations full powered on the 7!!! The Langust-dinner topped the day :-)

DAY11:

First a foto session just upon waking, then lobster for lunch, and off we were to our final destination of the trip: Prea and Jeri. Even though I had been like 8 times to Brazil already, I never made it that far north. What a pity: The little town is defenitely magical. The sunset from the dunes was just one of the most remarkable of my life!!!

DAY12:

Today we took the day off. We slept in, relaxed and then drove the 3h back to Paracuru. I am here now for one more week, and we will mainly spend it at the more common Brazil-kite-destinations: Cauipe, Taiba, Cubmuco and of course in Paracuru!!

DAY13:

We are now back at our base in Paracuru. The trip up north was great but it also feels good to be back again at my favorite place. Here you just can have every condittion depending on the tide: super flat water, good kickers or just chaos :-) Today we went for two early sessions as we wanted to use the low tide! I had a great session on the 9 and at lunch another one on the 7. Just great!!!!
