Oman - Muscatcitytour
The flight in C was pretty relaxed of course! Once we arrived in Muscat at 23:00 the heat was still almost unbearable and felt like a huge slap into our faces! Alex from Oman-Kiteboarding picked us up and drove us to his kite station. It is sooooo darn hot here... over 40 degrees at night and almost 50 degrees in the shades during the day. I am drinking over a litre and our... sweating like a pig.... But it is supposed to be waaayyyy more comfi further down south in the country, thanks to the Monsun...The first day we immediately started with some great stuff... no kiting, but touri-style sightseeing ;-) We visited every important sight in the 800.000 inhabitants city Muscat with ist famous Mosk, the market, the government-quarter, we chilled in a huge shopping mall and now we are relaxing in a nice mansion almost right at the beach!!!!
The plan of the trip is super sick! During the next week I will visit almost every nice kiting spot on the whole 1000km Oman-coastline and of course capture everything on video and camera!! We will sleep either in our 4x4 directly on the beach, or at a campingsite, or a few nights also in a sweet 4 star hotel... greeatt!!! As we have mobile internet, I will update you on a regular basis!!!!
Tomorrow will be the first day on the water here!!!! C YAAAAAAA!!!!
